Hong-Kong Baijiu (86 proof)
Visual: Crystal clear.
Nose: Intense tropical berry nose. Very unusual and evocative. Like a fruit you’ve never experienced before.
Taste: Almost like a young grape brandy with the addition of blackberries. At first there is a musky essence that is surprising, then a rustic fruity character comes into play. Very compact, tight and a powerhouse of flavor.
Finish: Medium long with a tailing of berry fruit.
Overall: If you were presented a glass of this and had no idea of what it was, you might very well guess that it is some kind of fruit flavored vodka. Surprise, surprise.
