download (1)González Byass is introducing Nomad Outland, a new Sherry-barrel-aged whisky. Set to debut nationwide in January, Nomad Outland is made with a blend of 5- to 8-year-old Scottish whiskies, which are matured in Sherry butts in Scotland for three years. The liquid is later transferred to the González Byass cellars in Jerez, Spain, where it’s aged for a minimum of 12 months. The new entry retails at around $44.99.

download (2)Utah’s High West Distillery is set to release a new limited edition whiskey, Yippee-Ki-Yay, on December 5. Commemorating the repeal of Prohibition 82 years ago, Yippee-Ki-Yay is made from a base of High West’s Double Rye whiskey, which was aged in vermouth and Syrah barrels. The special edition is being released in a batch of 3,000 bottles.
