Los Angeles, California’s Greenbar Distillery has expanded its portfolio of canned cocktails, launching five new offerings in 20 states across the U.S. The new canned cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alc) are made using spirits and ingredients made in house. The new releases include a 7% abv Single Malt Whiskey + Soda, a 7% abv Coastal Rum + Cola, and an 8% abv City Gin + Tonic, plus the two nonalcoholic drinks, Lavender Bitters + Soda and Orange Bitters + Soda. All five are available in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans for $15 for the cocktails and $10 for the non-alcoholic drinks.
Kansas City, Missouri-based Boulevard Brewing Company has released Fling Mojito, a new 100-calorie canned cocktail. The 5% abv drink has only 2 grams of carbs and is made with rum, lime, mint, and other natural flavors. The RTD cocktail will be available in most of Boulevard’s 32-state distribution footprint in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans. Mojito is the seventh release in the Fling family, joining Blood Orange Vodka Soda, Cucumber Lime Gin and Tonic, Margarita, Mai Tai, Rye Whiskey Mule, and Bourbon Smash.
Kentucky’s Bardstown Bourbon Company has announced the latest whiskey in its Collaborative Series, a Bourbon finished in Armagnac barrels from Château de Laubade. The 59.2% abv whiskey is a 12-year-old bottling that spent 18 months finishing in the Armagnac barrels. The new Bourbon joins Bardstown’s other Collaborative releases, which have included whiskies finished in beer, brandy, and wine barrels. The whiskey will launch on May 1 and be available for a limited time in select markets for a suggested price of $125 a 750-ml.
