Milton, Delaware-based Dogfish Head Brewery is launching Hazy-O IPA. The new release is distinguished by using oat milk as part of its mash along with malted, rolled, and naked oats. The oat milk adds a creamy smoothness to the brew more akin to a milk stout, according to Dogfish Head, contrasting with the tropical hop flavors that come with being a hazy-style IPA. The result of nearly a year of R&D, it’s at 7.1% abv and is rolling out nationally in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans now.
