GSN Review: Deep Eddy Peach Vodka

10398810_10154426418073662_206795016228525622_nDeep Eddy Vodka introduces Deep Eddy Peach to its portfolio of Texas spirits. Deep Eddy Peach is gluten-free and made with all-natural flavors, including real peaches and Texas aquifer water. It works with simpler mixers like ginger ale, iced tea and lemonade to create easy home cocktails. It also adds an extra touch to the classic Peach Bellini when paired with champagne or sparkling wine, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“Peach is a classic American flavor and has seen a resurgence in cocktails over the past few years. We worked on Deep Eddy Peach for more than a year to ensure we capture the flavor of real peaches in a way that enables both simple mixology at home and complex cocktails for advanced bartenders,” said Brandon Cason, Vice President of Marketing at Deep Eddy Vodka.

GSN has previously reviewed Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, as well as their Sweet Tea, Ruby Red and regular vodkas.

Deep Eddy Peach Vodka (70 proof)
Visual: Cloudy peach-orange.
Nose: Fresh-cut peach with a underlayer of high minerality from the vodka.
Taste: Rich, intense peach flavor supported by a reasonably high-proof vodka base.  Not too sweet, and not too much fire either.  This is good.
Finish: Medium-long with a sassy peach slap.  Everything about this is genteel and quite southern.
Overall: Another great addition to the Deep Eddy line.  This works well mixed in soda water, or with bourbon.  Or, if you’re like me, you will take long sips of it straight up at room temperature.
GSN Rating: A-
