Starting this month, Malibu Swirl—which features the flavors of strawberries and cream—and the chocolate ice cream-flavored Malibu Sundae will launch nationwide, supported by a full digital and social media push. Both 21%-abv offerings will be available in 1-liter, 750-ml. and 50-ml. formats, priced at around $14.99 a 750-ml.

CarlosMurphyTequila__84072_zoomLos Angeles-based Nicholas Enterprises has rolled out a new flavored Tequila entry, Carlos Murphy Original Cinnamon Spiced Tequila. Initially launching in the U.S., Canada, Japan and Belgium, the 70-proof handcrafted offering is made with a 100%-agave Reposado and infused with natural cinnamon flavors. Original Cinnamon Spiced, is launching first in California and South Carolina, and will continue to expand into other select U.S. markets, priced at $19.99 a 750-ml.

imagesCastle Brands is set to introduce Castello Mio Sambuca to the U.S. for the first time. The brand will launch with two expressions—Sambuca Superiore, a combination of the traditional Sambuca flavors with a secret blend of herbs and spices, and Sambuca Espresso, infused with real Italian deep roast coffee beans. Packaged in a tall glass decanter with a built-in pourer, Castello Mio is produced by a family company that has been crafting liqueurs in the Veneto region of Italy since the 1800s.

imagesIpswich, Massachusetts-based Privateer rum is expanding its distribution footprint into three new markets. Privateer will now be available in New York, California and Colorado, joining its existing markets of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Privateer, which launched in 2011, offers two variants—Privateer Silver Reserve and Privateer True American Amber.

imagesMarnier Lapostolle has unveiled details on three new Grand Marnier extensions slated to launch this year. The first—GM Titanium—will debut in August and initially be available across the Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago and South Florida markets. Featuring a blend of orange and calamansi citrus flavors with spices and Cognac, the high-end offering retails at $44.99 a 750-ml. In September, Marnier-Lapostolle will roll out Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, a limited-edition flavored expression that will be available nationwide, priced at $39.99. Also in the fall, the company plans to release Grand Marnier Cuvée 1880, which is billed as a blend of aged, premium XO Cognac sourced from the Grande Champagne region. The luxury entry is priced at $299.99, joining Cuvée du Centenaire and Quintessence in Grand Marnier’s higher-marque portfolio.

imagesDiageo’s Cîroc vodka is reportedly launching a new Amaretto flavor, joining Peach, Red Berry and Coconut in the brand’s line. Diageo’s partner on the brand, entertainment mogul Sean Combs, was touting the upcoming launch at a recent meeting with Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board officials in Harrisburg, according to local press.
