Bache-Gabrielsen-CognacThe Winebow Group is adding a new Cognac, Bache-Gabrielsen, to its import portfolio. Among Bache-Gabrielsen’s lineup is a new offering exclusive to the U.S. market, American Oak ($40), which is said to be the first Cognac to be aged in American oak barrels. Matured in Tennessee oak barrels for at least six months, the new entry is launching nationwide, alongside Bache-Gabrielsen’s VSOP and XO from their Natur & Eleganse range.

Papas-HeaderHemingway Rum Company has extended its Papa’s Pilar brand with a pair of limited edition barrel-aged dark rums. Launching this month, the Papa’s Pilar Custom Barreled Dark Rum duo is solera-aged in Bourbon, Port and Sherry casks before being finished in Bourbon barrels for an additional 90 days or 120 days. Both the 90- and 120-day expressions are available on- and off-premise in select U.S. markets, retailing at around $40 a 750-ml. They join existing Blonde ($30) and Dark ($40) entries in the Papa’s Pilar portfolio.

Espolon_AnejoX_750ml_black-8e2030e162cf83789f2125ca7b355440Campari America is extending Espolòn Tequila with the launch of Añejo X, a limited release offering aged six years. The extra añejo, created by master distiller Cirilo Oropeza, is packaged in a black matte glass bottle with a label that features the story of Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebration. Espolòn Añejo X (41% abv) retails at about $100 a 750-ml. bottle.
