Formerly a draft-only summer seasonal, Double Aught will now be distributed year-round in 12-ounce six-packs and on draft across Bear Republic’s distribution territory. Inspired by the balanced light lagers of Central Europe, Double Aught is a 5% abv pilsner brewed with 100% barley malt and Hallertauer hops. Bear Republic is the 44th-largest craft brewer nationwide, according to the Brewers Association.

beerLongmont, Colorado’s Oskar Blues Brewery is releasing Passion Fruit Pinner Throwback IPA nationwide this month. The 4.9%-abv limited beer is a spinoff of the brewer’s Pinner Throwback IPA and features pureed passion fruit and blood orange. Oskar Blues, which is backed by Boston’s Fireman Capital Partners, produced 192,000 barrels of beer last year.

TartTen_750mlBottle-NoReflection_WebTransPennsylvania’s Victory Brewing has unveiled Tart Ten, a new seasonal entry. A Belgian Dubbel ale at 10% abv, Tart Ten is made from pilsner and caramel malts and Czech Saaz hops and fermented with Brettanomyces yeast. Rolling out across Victory’s 37-state footprint, Tart Ten is retailing at $9.99 a 750-ml. bottle and is also available on draft.

icon_blue_coffee_porter_front_neckHouston-based Saint Arnold Brewing Company is introducing a Honey Saison as part of its Icon Gold series of collaborative beers. Made with Texas Wildflower Honey from Burleson’s Honey, the new offering is brewed with French Saison yeast; pilsner, wheat and Carapils malt; and Perle, Lemon Drop and Motueka hops. Saint Arnold Icon Gold Honey Saison (6.4% abv) is available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles. Saint Arnold produces 10 year-round offerings, seven seasonals and three specialty series of beers.

375435Belgium’s Brasserie Dupont has partnered with San Marcos, California craft brewer Lost Abbey for the release of a new collaborative saison-style beer, Deux Amis. Rolling out this summer through Brasserie Dupont importer Total Beverage Solution, Deux Amis was brewed in Belgium as a marriage of Dupont’s and Lost Abbey’s respective saison styles, and includes American Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Deux Amis, French for “two friends,” is debuting in 750-ml. bottles and on draft.

unnamed-1Chicago’s Burnt City Brewing has launched summer seasonal Retrofit lime radler. Retrofit (3.7% abv) features Key lime juice and is available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans for about $9.99, as well as kegs. The release follows last month’s launch of Burnt City’s three flagship offerings—Dick the Butcher pale ale, Face Melter hibiscus IPA and Balloon Boy farmhouse wheat ale—in canned format. Burnt City distributes its craft beers throughout Chicago, northern Illinois, northern Indiana and Alabama.

DFH_BottleSketches_033016_V3_HLDelaware-based Dogfish Head has unveiled Flesh & Blood IPA, a new citrus-infused beer. Hitting shelves the weekend of July 4, Flesh & Blood is a 7.5% abv IPA brewed with lemon flesh and blood orange juice.

Devils-Backbone-Adventure-PackLexington, Virginia-based Devils Backbone Brewing Company is introducing a new variety “Adventure Pack,” comprised of five new beers—Ale of Two Cities Amero Kolsch-style ale (4.7% abv), Apple-achian Pie Stout (8% abv), Hot Shot IPA brewed with jalapeno peppers (6.2% abv), Space Fruit Pale Ale (4.6% abv), Tropical Thunder brewed with pineapple juice (5.3% abv)—as well as the brewer’s flagship Vienna Lager (5.2% abv). The Devils Backbone Adventure Pack is available July through September throughout Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, North Carolina and West Virginia.

LeftHandBrewingfeatLongmont, Colorado-based Left Hand Brewing Company is rolling out its craft beer lineup in canned format for the first time. By this winter, the company’s Fade to Black, American IPA and Milk Stout will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans, with additional beers to be canned next year. Left Hand’s cans will be available throughout the company’s 36-state distribution footprint.
