Bayville, New York-based 750 Brands Corp. has launched its first spirits brand, Italy’s Francescano Natura Assisi liqueur line, to the U.S. market. The range of six gelato-inspired liqueur flavors (17% abv) includes Sicilian Pistachio Cream, Melon Cream, Peach Cream, Lemon Cream, White Chocolate Cream and Chocolate with Rum Cream, as well as its flagship Limoncello Liqueur (27% abv). The Francescano line is currently available in Kentucky, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Kansas, Tennessee and North Dakota at a suggested retail price of $23.99 a 750-ml.
William Grant has linked with the burgeoning craft beer movement with the launch of an Ale Cask Reserve within its Grant’s blended Scotch whisky franchise. Retailing at about $20 a 750-ml., a few dollars higher than the core Grant’s brand, Ale Cask is finished for up to four months in former ale barrels.
Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is rolling out three limited edition straight rye whiskey expressions under its Redemption Whiskey brand in a new collection. The Aged Barrel Proof Collection of straight rye whiskey includes an Aged 7 Years (122.6 proof, $79.99), 8 Years (121.5 proof, $89.99) and 10 Years (110.1 proof, $129.99), all of which were distilled from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and aged in charred new oak barrels.
Luxco’s Saint Brendan’s Irish Cream liqueur has extended its lineup with two new limited edition seasonals—Salted Caramel and Peppermint Bark. The new releases, which mark Saint Brendan’s first-ever flavor offshoots, will be available throughout the holiday season, retailing at $14.99 a 750-ml.
