While we are all easing into the heat of summer, Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka offers a refreshing way to keep cool. The taste and color mimic southern iced tea perfectly and Seagram’s Vodka does not shy away from offering a myriad of serving options. Whether you sip it over ice, add a splash of ginger ale, or mix it with lemonade you will enjoy the taste of sweet caramel and savory honey (35% – 70 proof).
Color: Light caramel.
Nose: Smokey walnut with floral notes.
Taste: Smooth and sweet, rich honey and black tea flavor. Better over ice with some dilution, the black tea is a tad concentrated and overpowering.
Finish: Smokey with a slight kick, not too strong but a pleasant surprise.
GSN’s Thoughts: This is a splendid addition to our list of summer favorites because it is easy to drink and fun to share. Our preferred method of mixing is the Seagram’s official “Sweet Tea Palmer” cocktail:
- 2 ounces Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
- 3-4 ounces lemonade
- Lemon Wedge for Garnish
GSN Rating: B
